From Battered to Beauty
We are a "God Given - God Driven" Ministry based on Luke 7:37-38, 48, 50.
"A woman in that town who lived a sinful life learned that Jesus was eating at the Pharisee’s house, so she came there with an alabaster jar of perfume. As she stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them. Then Jesus said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.” Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”

Our Beliefs and Core Values

WE BELIEVE: God is the Creator of everything that exists (Genesis 1:1; Isaiah 44:24) and is infinite and eternal. He is the only true and living God, (Isaiah 43:10; 44:6, 8; John 17:3; 1 Corinthians 8:5-6; Galatians 4:8-9), who is undeniable in spirit and is three in one, God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19; John 14:16-17; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Acts 2:32-33, John 10:30,17:11, 21; 1 Peter 1:2). God has always been and will ever be God (Psalm 90:2; Genesis 21:33; Acts 17:24).
WE BELIEVE: God is Omniscient, meaning He "knows all things" (Acts 15:18; 1 John 3:20). God is Omnipotent, meaning He is "all-powerful" (Psalm 115:3; Revelation 19:6) and God is Omnipresent, meaning He is "present everywhere" (Jeremiah 23:23, 24; Psalm 139).
WE BELIEVE: God is sovereign (Zechariah 9:14; 1 Timothy 6:15-16) and God is holy (1 Peter 1:15). God is just and righteous (Psalm 19:9, 116:5, 145:17; Jeremiah 12:1) and God is love (1 John 4:8). God is true (Romans 3:4; John 14:6), God is immutable and He does not change (James 1:17; Malachi 3:6; Isaiah 46:9-10).
WE BELIEVE: Jesus Christ is the one and only begotten Son of the Father. Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world; Jesus Christ is God (John 1:1, 14, 10:30-33, 20:28; Colossians 2:9; Philippians 2:5-8; Hebrews 1:8) and Jesus Christ was born of a virgin (Matthew 1:18; Luke 1:26–35).
WE BELIEVE: Jesus Christ became a man (Philippians 2:1-11) and is fully God and fully man (Colossians 2:9; 1 Timothy 2:5; Hebrews 4:15; 2 Corinthians 5:21); Jesus Christ is perfect and sinless (1 Peter 2:22; Hebrews 4:15) and Jesus is the only way to God the Father (John 14:6; Matthew 11:27; Luke 10:22).
WE BELIEVE: God is Spirit (John 4:24) and the Holy Spirit is God (Acts 5:3-4; 1 Corinthians 2:11-12; 2 Corinthians 13:14). The Holy Spirit functions as the limitless and existing presence of Jesus Christ here on earth. The Holy Spirit is the Comforter and Advocate, which dwells in every born-again believer making the body of the believer His Holy temple.
WE BELIEVE: The Holy Spirit convicts a person of sin, draws the sinner to Jesus Christ and causes the faith in him to repent of sin, believe in his heart that God raised Jesus Christ from the dead and then confesses with his mouth that Jesus Christ is his personal Savior and Lord and becomes a believer.
WE BELIEVE: The Holy Spirit operates in all believers in the power of the gifts of the Spirit, manifesting them as He wills for Christian service and ministry for the winning of souls, healing of the sick, revelation knowledge, and the working of miracles, signs and wonders as a witness to this generation that God is the Great I AM.
WE BELIEVE: Through the will of the believer, the Holy Spirit enters him as a gift from the Father, enabling him to believe in Jesus Christ, enabling him to pray in tongues (the prayer language of the Holy Spirit) and increasing the effectiveness of his prayer and praise life on a daily basis.
WE BELIEVE: The Holy Scripture, the Bible, is the infallible Word of God and is the "inspired" or "God-breathed," Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21) and is therefore without error and is eternally reliable in all matters of Christian faith and practice. The Scriptures shall not be added to, superseded, or changed by later tradition or revelation. Every doctrinal formation, whether of creed, confession, or theology, must be put to the test of the full counsel of God as revealed in the Scriptures, consisting of sixty-six books from Genesis to Malachi in the Old Testament and from Matthew to Revelation in the New Testament.
WE BELIEVE: Humans were created by God and in the image of God (Genesis 1:26-27). God's Plan for mankind is Salvation. Jesus Christ’ death and resurrection for our sins is our only hope for salvation of spirit, mind, soul and body in this life and the world to come.
WE BELIEVE: All people have sinned (Romans 3:23, 5:12) and death came into the world through Adam's sin (Romans 5:12-15) and sin separates us from God (Isaiah 59:2).
WE BELIEVE: Jesus Christ died for the sins of every person in the world (1 John 2:2; 2 Corinthians 5:14; 1 Peter 2:24) and the death of Jesus Christ was a trade-off sacrifice. He died and paid the price for our sins so that we might live forever with Him. (1 Peter 2:24; Matthew 20:28; Mark 10:45).
WE BELIEVE: Jesus Christ was resurrected from the dead in physical form (John 2:19-21) and salvation is a free gift to us from God (Romans 4:5, 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; 1 John 1:8-10). Those who accept Jesus Christ will live for eternity with Him after they die (John 11:25, 26; 2 Corinthians 5:6).
WE BELIEVE: That believers are saved by grace; Salvation cannot be earned by human efforts or good works (Ephesians 2:8–9) and those who reject Jesus Christ will go to hell forever after they die (Revelation 20:11-15, 21:8). There is a judgment day beyond this life when God will sit in judgment on all nations, separating the righteous and unrighteous forever. Hell is a real place of punishment (Matthew 25:41, 46; Revelation 19:20) and Hell is eternal (Matthew 25:46).
WE BELIEVE: Jesus Christ will return to the earth (Acts 1:11). Christians will be raised from the dead (1 Thessalonians 4:14-17). And there will be a rapture of the church (Matthew 24:30-36, 40-41; John 14:1-3; 1 Corinthians 15:51-52; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12. There is a new heaven and new earth that will take the place of this physical plane at the return of Christ to renovate and restore all things to their original created form.
WE BELIEVE: The Great Commission was given by Christ and is a command to every believer to “go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” with the good news of the gospel.
WE BELIEVE: The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, Psalm 24. Everything which appears and has substance in the universe comes from God. God is God of heaven and earth and made all things for our good, Romans 8:28 When put in their divinely created order, the natural and supernatural are to work together for the meeting of man’s needs spiritually, mentally, socially, economically, physically, emotionally and financially for individuals and families as a whole.
